Comment by TayFed June 17, 2008 @ 10:55 pmHi Alisha, Hope the flying went great, although it sounds like some delays and a very long day. You are in my prayers as you start the building days. What a privilege you have to give someone a house! And then the greater gift of a knowlege of Jesus. Stay safe, healthy, and grow in this experience.

Comment by Lynette Dooley June 19, 2008 @ 11:14 amI’m so excited that you get to have this wonderful opportunity to get away from Grandville and the soccer fields and volleyball courts and just focus on serving God and others in Guatemala! I’m sure you’ll still get to play soccer with the kids there, but that will be different! I’m praying that God will give you JOY in all you do; that you will realize all you do is worship and praise to Him…building homes, playing with the kids, loving people.!!! How great to be making a difference for all ETERNITY!
God bless you,
Lynette Dooley

Comment by Josh Potter June 21, 2008 @ 12:59 pmHi Alisha!
I am typing this in the Detroit airport on Saturday. My flight from Vienna to Amsterdam to Detroit just got here. I have been sitting here reading about your team’s adventures in Guatemala so far. It sounds both challenging and faith-building!
Speaking of soccer, the Croatia national team was staying in the same hotel that I was in in Vienna.
I hope all goes well until your return on Tuesday.
I will continue to be praying for you and your group. The impact you have made will extend well beyond the end of your week there!
Love Dad

I’m so glad that you were able to be a part of this trip and to see firsthand how God can use you and work through you to perform miracles in the lives of His beloved children in Guatemala…and in Grandville when you get back!
