Hi Beej,
Comment by Sue Maas June 17, 2008 @ 11:44 pmI went to pick strawberries after I left the church this morning. It always brings back such great memories of the times we spent doing it together(even the times with Rick and Randy!). I am so proud of you and the man you have become. We will be praying for you and the safety of the whole team. We love you guys! Mom
BJ, great to see your smile at the send off and know how excited you and Jillian are to be going back to Guat….Hope all goes well at the airport and I will pay if you need to rent a cart to get all the baggage in….don’t try carrying too many at once. Love to you both, Carole
Comment by Carole Pettijohn June 18, 2008 @ 12:03 amAlright B.J- Just one piece of advice: If you get any type of open wound, please rinse it with clean water and alcohol, and keep it covered with neosporin and a bandage. I’ll really be too busy to come see you in the hospital in GR next week. (= J/k- I’d still come see you… But I wouldn’t be happy.
Comment by Erin Bernethy June 18, 2008 @ 3:21 amHave an awesome trip- we’re keeping you in our prayers!
BJ, It’s great that you are in Guatemala again, Lar enjoys working with you so much. Have a great time, don’t get any bug bites or wounds, and come home healthy after your week. The Lord will bless you in a huge way again! Mary Molegraaf

Comment by DAD June 20, 2008 @ 3:58 pmHi Beej,
Comment by sue maas June 21, 2008 @ 8:03 amWe were so relieved to finally get some news thanks to Kristi keeping us updated as much as possible. We’re so anxious to hear from you and Jillian. Dad got back safe late last night. He said it would have been more fun if you had been with him again this year! It sounds like you may not be able to get on the internet yet. I just wanted you guys to know we have been constantly checking the website and praying for all of you. We love you and con’t wait to hear your stories and see pictures!Much love to you and Jillian!!!
BJ:
Last year you and Kevin VB were the BIG muscles on the team; this year you are kind of on your own to handle any fallen trees, etc.! Just kidding. Actually, one of our favorite pictures from last year was of you, with all your muscles, assisting a tiny, frail woman with such tenderness and love. So watch again for ways, both big and small, to use your muscles–especially your HEART to show your love to those you meet this year! God has special things planned for you again!
God bless you,

He brought it home and put it in the row boat and of course it got out..Thinking and praying for you guys…Love-Bob-Dad

Comment by Alan Jurgens June 21, 2008 @ 7:08 pmBJ Hope all is going well. I miss not being with you in Guat this year. I am praying for you this week. I pray your relationship with CHRIST will continue to grow as you are HIS hands and feet this week in Guat. Take care love ya man, Senor AL
Comment by Alan Jurgens June 21, 2008 @ 7:13 pmGood morning BJ, Happy Sunday, hope you all have a great day and continue to enjoy serving there. We are all eager for more news, but we understand the lack of technology. One of Dixon’s comments this week after he got back was “ah, the sound of the microwave”, funny how we don’t think about the amenities we enjoy like, phone service, computers on line, constant communication etc until they are taken away from us. I keep clicking on this site every 30 minutes just so I won’t miss an update from all of you. Praying for you, enjoy each moment , it will be ending soon. love, mom and the family
Comment by mom June 22, 2008 @ 5:35 amHey—-wish you guys could send more pics but know that it will be awesome looking at them and you guys telling us all in person… Can’t believe it is Sunday already……Take care, Love ya both, Bob-Dad

Comment by Lynette Dooley June 22, 2008 @ 7:19 pmAs water reflects a face, so a man’s heart reflects the man.
BJ I love that photo of you! That totally captures your gentle spirit! I am so glad that things are going well. Right now you are probably playing soccer or throwing a football around at the village.
I pray that tonight as Hermano Jesus preaches and the village watches and listens to all of you, even more lives come to the Lord!
Comment by Kristy Van Wyhe June 22, 2008 @ 7:42 pmLove you,

Hi Beej,
Comment by Sue Maas June 23, 2008 @ 2:25 pmWheels coming off, brakes going out, bug bites-YIKES! It sounds like everyone is being tested (even mom and dads at home!). You are so capable of handling most anything, but I know it’s the love and prayers of everyone surrounding your team that has seen you thru. Safe travels tomorrow-we love you guys and can’t wait to see you and hear all about the trip! Mom
Hi B
Comment by Dave Maas June 23, 2008 @ 5:33 pmSounds like you and Jillian are doing well and getting some things done. Looking forward to seeing both of you soon. Hope your trip back goes good. Don’t fall asleep on the plane. you don’t want everyone to think the plane has engine problems.
Love you,
D
BJ, Sorry I haven’t commented more. I am praeying for you tho. I hope things are going great. I cant wait to hear all the stories. Have safe travels and Be a light even on the way home. (usually the first and easiest time to share God’s love and power.) See ya soon.

Bear, first and foremost, I hope all is well with you and your wife. We are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers….now on to business…you need to hear about our softball story tonight. Talk to Aaron or me about it when you get back.
PS. you are out of cereal and potato chips, and sorry but I had to move your couch over a foot, I spilled spaghetti in your living room.
