Hi Kels, You probably won’t get to read this for awhile, and when you do there will be a huge line. You left this am, so we haven’t had postings of the groups, but I am praying for you and your group. I remember when we got our groups, I didn’t know many of the women very well. God hugely blessed me through that group. Our talents and gifts complimented each other and we grew together. It is all in God’s plan. I know you know this, I pray that you feel it.
Comment by Lynn June 18, 2008 @ 6:32 amGod Bless. I miss you (it is very quiet here) and love you.
Mom
Hi Kelsey, I luv u. I’ll be praying for u all week. I read from John 17 tonite where Jesus prays for his disciples : Father, I want those u have given me to be with me where I am , & to see my glory. My prayer is that the team & u will experience the glory of God in a unique & powerful way. Luv ya. Dad

Comment by Lori Decator June 18, 2008 @ 10:14 pmStay up late and drink coffee so we can talk. I love you
Morning Kels, If you guys are on schedule this is stucco day. The kids here may not know that they have a job like the kids in the last village where you built. They were amazing. I hope you are enjoying the kids, the village, and your team. I am reading through your “Sold Out” devotional, and as I considered the tandem bike, I read Ps 139:3. “You chart the path ahead of me and tell me where to stop and rest.” I know God has charted your path this week. I pray for health, strength, growth, and rest. Love you. Mom
Comment by Lynn June 19, 2008 @ 8:48 amhey you,

Kelsey:
We are praying for you and the team, we and know that God will do amazing things in the lives of others THROUGH you…and also that He will do amazing things IN you. I remember hearing how God spoke to you the last time you were in Guatemala when you spoke at Dan & Heidi’s dinner at church. Continue to listen to His prompting and obey when and where He calls. He has much in store for you this trip too!
God bless you,

Hi honey, I am praying for health, strength and energy today. Are you able to get a cup of coffee in the village to get you going? I understand that you guys are tired and today is a big day, finishing up the building and the dedications. God will provide and be your strength. He promises rest for the weary. Make an impact, Kels, you are in our prayers. Love you. Mom

hey you,
Comment by Brad June 21, 2008 @ 12:22 amon to the clinic now huh? good thing you told me what you were doing down there because we haven’t got many updates and I’ve had to tell a couple of people. But, I knew what I was talking about. Hopefully you get to work the clinic twice and it goes awesome for you! I’m still praying for you and the team and I can’t wait to see you again!
P.S. I’m on 3 cups of coffee now
Good morning Kelsey, it is a beautiful day here and we are heading to the cottage for the week. That means no computer for us, either. I know you guys are disappointed that you cannot share your pics and stories, and hear from us, but it sounds like the experience is incredible, and eventful. You are in our thoughts and prayers constantly. You love the clinic days, so my prayer will be that you impact lives mightily these next two days, yours as well. Stay healthy and write when you can, I’ll get to a computer somehow. Love you and miss you. Mom
Comment by Lynn McInnis June 21, 2008 @ 9:12 amHi Kelsey, We miss u but certainly hope u r having a wonderful time. We are doing well up here in MI. Breanne and I went kayaking down the Grand River around dusk on Thurs. evening. The float trip started well and ended with a “glow”. It was a good father-daughter bonding moment. Now, before u start thinking ‘Oh no, Dad is becoming that wierd, romantic outdoorsman again. What’s he reading Thoreau’s On Walden Pond?’ Remember this is Grand Rapids & we were floating down the Grand. We started paddling & within a 100 yards, I saw this HUGE fish jump! I thought ‘Awesome’. But I quickly realized why that fish jumped. There were bugs & fleas everywhere. Breanne was a real trooper & only offered 1 mild complaint about ‘inhaling’ bugs. On the other hand, I was really whining like I do when I run with Kevin on Winter mornings. Yet, I heard the voice of kevin telling me to be stop whining, be tough & suck it up. So I stopped whining & sucked it up (with a few bugs). So, we finished the trip & I was Happy we went. As for that ‘glow’- I’m not sure what was causing it. It wasn’t from the sunset. No, it was a minty, brown glow that was covering our bodies. It must have come from the water. I haven’t told Breanne, But I think I Know what caused it. I remember hearing how sewerage overflows into the river when we get lots of rain. Here it is Sat. morning, & I still have a dull glow on me- hopefully, it will be gone when u get back. Oh well, enuf of my innane ramblings. I hope & pray u r happy, heahthy & having an awesome time. Praise God for willingness to be the hands & feet of Christ to the people of Guate.. I love u, Dad
Comment by bill McInnis June 21, 2008 @ 10:14 amHey Girl – Sounds like you guys are working hard and having fun – our prayers are going out to you. It sure is quite around here. Your mom wrote this am that the sun was shining but it has left us since then – once again it is raining here in good ol Michigan. Miss you and we will see you on Tuesday. Mom Stob
Comment by Mom Stob June 21, 2008 @ 1:30 pmHey Kelsey!

I pray you are being used by GOD this week not only in the Guat people, but also in the lives of those in your team. Thanks for giving of yourself this week. Comment by Alan Jurgens June 21, 2008 @ 7:27 pmhey you,
Comment by Brad June 21, 2008 @ 11:49 pmguess what? i was tubing today with miller, jon, and AJ at miller’s cottage and the scab on the wound on my leg ripped open…and my dad made me put more hydrogen peroxide on it! It hurt. Also, I drank coffee out of the Beijing cup finally so now I’m on cup 4 since you left. Oh, and I did the Cupid Shuffle at my cousin’s wedding last night (Friday) so I’m pretty much awesome with extra awesome. Anyway, I hope you had a great first day at the clinic, and you filled all those prescriptions perfectly. I’m praying for you and I hope you have an amazing day tomorrow!
Hey Kels, We are sitting here at the Holdens borrowing their computer. I know you won’t be able to respond, but we are thinking and praying for you guys constantly. It was wonderful to see the pictures, but can’t wait to hear the stories. Sounds like the first clinic village was out of the ordinary, but was truly blessed by God.
Comment by Mom and Dad June 22, 2008 @ 1:41 pmWe are reminded of Jesus’ words to his disciples and us in John 15:12- “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you” We are happy to hear that you have experienced the love of God, and pray that you will continue to experience His peace and joy in the remaining time. We are proud of you, we miss you, and we love you.
Mom and Dad
