Wow! Another mission trip to Guatemala and another opportunity to see God and be used by Him in ways that I can not even imagine! I remember the last time you were there–you were faithful in following the prompting of the Holy Spirit and shared your testimony. You changed lives for ETERNITY. And your faith grew! I know that you will be open to do all that God calls you to do on this trip as well–I’ll be praying for that you will be focused and ready when He gives you another opportunity!

You have probably just arrived and are beginning to get to know the beautiful people you will be ministering to tonight. You are an amazing woman of faith, and I know that God is using you to touch many lives, both the Guatemalans and the team. I have to say that I may have some drywall work for you and Linds when you guys get home. I like to see young people like yourself get to mixing that plaster and stucco mix!! Talked to your family at church this morning. Your mom is going to have us over when you get home to hear all about your experiences. Looking at your pictures I see a lot of little “Sams”. It makes me want to reach out and hug everyone of them. They are so precious. Give them a hug from Papa Dave and Grandma Ellen back in the states. Hi Everyone
Just thought I would update those
who were so faithful to pray for
Rachel meeting up with Jorge today.
She went to the MacDonalds she thought
they had planned on meeting at but
after she waited there for quiet
some time she found out that he
was in another town waiting for her
at a MacDonalds. She was able to
get over to where he was in about
an hour or so and then were finally
able to make a connection. So thank
you so much for your prayers that
this would happen for both of them.
Only a God as great as we serve
could plan and allow this to happen.

Dear Rachel
I have been watching the clock all night as I worked and have been thinking about you as you had your last group devotions and then an early rise and shine to get to the airport and start your trip back home. It sounds like you had another amazing trip with many incredible opportunities, and witnessing of God working in a mighty way amongst the Guatemalans and your Ivanrest group. I can’t wait to hear some of the amazing stories. I am so happy that you were able to meet up with Jorge despite some communication gaps. I am sure that it was a real special time for him to see you again. Thanks for all you have done for him. Have a safe trip home and we will continue to pray for you as you travel today.
