Hope your trip to Guatemala went well. Did you get any sleep on the plane?? I would probably guess not with all those crazy girls! Sorry to hear you get the crippled one in your group – just prop her up somewhere with a paint brush and I’m sure she can get something accomplished. I told Kelly to tell you that Kevin is definitely missing you more than he is his sister!! Somehow I think he’d rather play golf with you than Kelly. Hope all goes well, stay safe and healthy, keep Kelly in line and try to make sure she doesn’t take too many babies back with her!

Spencey Its so quiet around here! The man cave has been empty for three days now. It is so clean and neat downstairs it doesnt look like the same basement. But of course I miss the empty food bags and pop cans all over the floor. We all miss you and are praying you are staying healthy and getting the work done that needs to be. We’re praying that all is going well and that you have safe travels back to the base tomorrow. We are so anxious to hear from all of you, but we know that not hearing anything also means that things are going well. We pray that today’s dedication will be one where families find new shelter for their physical bodies and a new home for their spiritual souls–one that will be for all eternity. How cool to be used by God in such an amazing and powerful way!

Sure seems weird this year without all of your updates. Your updates were the ones we could always go to and find out what was going on. Hope you are well and not too tired (especially with having “crip” on your team). I’m hoping she’s doing her fair share of work!! It sounds like from the latest news and you’re having an exciting trip and we are all so anxious to hear more, but know there is a reason behind all this. Dear Spencer, Thought I should write to just say hi and tell you that the pics on the site are so fun to see…as soon as we saw the posting yesterday we were calling people to get them on the site and writing again. I will also try to have a talk with Marcus to let him know that you can’t write cuz that is out of your hands ! I am sure he understands. Anyway, Graham has been crying himself to sleep the last two nights due to missing you. This week has really flown by and I can’t believe you guys come home in two days. Actually one day because it is now 12:10 on Monday morning. hello everyone, im at mcdonalds right now and my mcflurry is glorious…so much better than PB and J..i have so many stories to tell with no time at all so this will be short……

last night we were returning from our clinic which went amazing and satan tried to slow us down…..first one of our vans ran out of brake fluid so the red van had to go in the middle just incase it couldnt stop it would run into the van ahead of us…just like in the movies….then as we were driving down a dark street 12 men in black masks and black bags over their heads stopped our van…..they also had weapons…..but the lord was protecting us and although we were all scared to death as \larry put it….”what we didn’t see was the thousands of angels surrounding us at that point”…next the van without brakes went out of control downhill and the driver swerved off the road and into a sidebank…….the only place on the whole road that would have stopped the van without falling over a cliff………your prayers were there with us!

woke up this morning to the news i won’t be able to see Gloria….i didnt know what to do…..that was one of the main reasons i came on this trip and anticipation for a year building up to this day then BAM….done………but kevin the miracle worker is trying to pull some strings and I may get to see her tonight….
